In order to dominate the Indian automobile market, Mahindra recently launched the new BS6 variant Mahindra Bolero BS6 of its powerful SUV Bolero. Here we are telling this SUV against the Ford EcoSport in the Indian market. How much power both these SUVs have.

Talking about power and specifications, then the Mahindra Bolero BS6 has a 1.5 liter 3 cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine which generates power at 3600 and torque at 1600-2200. This SUV has a single plate dry clutch. In terms of power and specifications, the Ford EcoSport has a 1498cc 3-cylinder mHawk75 diesel engine that generates 98.63 Hp power at 3750 Rpm and 215 NM torque at 1750-2500 Rpm. On the other hand, the engine of this SUV is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

For your information, let us tell you that in terms of suspension, IFS coil spring suspension has been given in the front of the Mahindra Bolero BS6 and Rigid leaf spring suspension in the rear. At the same time, in terms of suspension, the Ford EcoSport has independent front end and semi-independent (twist beam type) suspension in the rear. The same, in terms of braking system, the Mahindra Bolero BS6 has a disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. In terms of braking system, the Ford EcoSport BS6 has a ventilated disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear.
