TVS has recently launched its Radeon BS6 in India. The company has kept its initial price of Rs 58,992. In the Indian market, this commuter motorcycle competes strongly with the Hero Splendor Plus BS6, which has an initial price of Rs 59,600.

In TVS Radeon, the company has given a 109.7cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected BS6 engine. This engine generates a power of 8.19PS at 7350 rpm and torque of 8.7Nm at 4500rpm. This engine comes with a 4-speed transmission. The same, the Hero Splendor Plus has a 97.2cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel injection engine that conforms to BS6 standards. This engine generates a power of 8.02 PS at 8000 rpm and torque of 8.05Nm at 6000rpm. This engine also comes with a 4-speed transmission. When you compare both the engines with each other, you get a little more power in the Radeon.

TVS Radeon BS6 is built on a single cradle tubular frame. It has telescopic front suspension and twin shock absorbers at the rear. With 18-inch tubeless tires, 110mm drum / 240mm petal discs in the front and 110mm drum brakes are provided in the rear. The Hero Cradle Plus uses a double cradle tubular frame. It also has telescopic front fork as suspension and twin shock absorbers at the rear. It has 130 mm drum brakes in the front and rear in 18-inch tires. In this also you get the option of a disc brake variant in Radeon, while in Splendor Plus you get only drum brakes. However, in the Splendor Plus, you get to see a double cradle tubular frame.
