Mahindra & Mahindra is gearing up to raise the prices of its vehicles. The hike will be around Rs 36 thousand on various models and will come into effect from July 1, 2019. The company announced on Wednesday that the hike is being made due to the introduction of AIS145 safety standards in all passenger vehicles.

According to the information received from the company recently, these safety rules are to come into force from 1st July 2019 and will make it mandatory to provide a number of safety features in trains. Features such as over speed alerts will be provided for the driver.

For your information, the price of the XUV500 and Marajo will also be increased in addition to the Scorpio, Bolero, TUV300 and KUV100 NXT, according to Mahindra on the XUV500, Marazzo.
