Following the letter issued by the Department of Economic Affairs and Statistics in the name of Assistant Director Satish Kumar Saharia, the Congress government in the state has taken action against Saharia and suspended him. An FIR has also been lodged against Saharia. Let us know that the instruction to create fake social media accounts was for those selected for the Rajiv Gandhi Yuva Mitra internship. The letter issued in the name of Saharia states that there should be a Twitter handle in the name of all young friends. Along with this, a young friend should create 10 fake accounts. The letter also clearly states that his name should not be there anywhere in these fake accounts. The letter says that ten fake accounts can be created from one mobile number. They have been asked to tweet and retweet all the accounts about the state government's schemes.
According to the letter, the orders were issued on August 2 by the Directorate and Joint Secretary of the Department of Economics and Statistics and are addressed to all the Block Statistical Officers of Sawai Madhopur district. At the same time, Om Prakash Bairwa, director of the Department of Economics and Statistics, has said that no order has been issued on his behalf to create fake accounts on Facebook and Twitter. Bairwa, while talking to the media, said, "I have not issued any such letter. When I spoke to Saharia, he also said that no such letter has been issued on his behalf. However, if Saharia has not issued the letter, then why has he been suspended? There is no clear answer.'' At the same time, Bairwa has said that the Superintendent of Police of Sawai Madhopur has been asked to investigate the matter so that the truth can come out.
