The crimes against minor are increasing day by day. In yet another shocking and shameful incident reported from Bihar. A Maulana allegedly recorded indecent videos and blackmailed a minor girl. As of now Police have arrested the Maulana of the Nawada-based Madrasa and booked him under POCSO Act.

The Police have identified the accused as Shahadat Hussain. As per the information he shot lewd videos and blackmailed the victim. The incident occurred in an area under the jurisdiction of the Kauakol police station in the Nawada district. Pakribawan SDPO Mahesh Chaudhary said that the accused is a resident of village Garhi under the Khaira police station of Nawada.

The Police official further told that he was arrested by the cops after a formal complaint was filed against him. However, Hussain claimed that he was engaged in a love affair with the victim, who is now acting under the pressure of her family. This is not the first instance earlier an imam was arrested for allegedly raping an eight-year-old girl at a madrasa in Jharkhand's Simdega district.

The 43-year-old imam, sent the other pupils home, and took the girl to his room on the campus where he allegedly raped her. As per the information after the rape, he allegedly threatened the girl and told her that a jinn has possessed him, police said. The girl returned home in tears and narrated the incident to her parents who then lodged a police complaint. She said that the imam had allegedly raped her even two months ago, but she could not tell them out of fear.
