It was reported that the critically acclaimed Malayalam political thriller 'Nayattu' is being remade in Telugu, which will be titled 'Bracket' in Telugu. Anjali, Rao Ramesh and Satyadev will reportedly play the primary roles in the film which were originally played by Nimisha Sajayan, Joju George and
Kunchko Boban respectively. The remake will reportedly be produced by Allu Aravind under his home banner Geeta Arts. The film will be directed by Karuna Kumar of 'Palasa' and 'Sridevi Soda Centre' fame.

The Telugu version will reportedly be set in the backdrop of an old local game. Bracket is said to be a popular game among gamblers. The pre-production of Bracket is said to have been completed in Hyderabad, and its regular shooting will begin from November 2021.

Nayattu is known for its intelligent screenplay that narrates a difficult social drama in a thriller template. It is also widely acclaimed for its story, direction and performance. Anjali who was last seen in 'Vakil Saab' is said to be busy with 'F3' in Telugu, 'Bairagi' in Kannada. She is reportedly also starring in Shankar and Ram Charan's film. On the other hand, Satyadev Kancharan, who had a superhit with Thimarusu this year, is currently busy shooting for 'Guruthunda Seethakalam', 'Godse', 'Ram Sethu' and 'Skylab'.
