New Delhi: During the ongoing budget session in Parliament, veteran leader of the opposition and Congress Mallikarjun Kharge in Rajya Sabha said on Friday that PM Narendra Modi has misused Parliament for political gains. Kharge said, 'PM Modi was present in the Rajya Sabha. We raised important issues like inflation, unemployment, farmers, GDP, national security and unity, but there was no response to them.' Kharge further said that 'PM Modi tried to divert the issues and blame the Congress.'

Leader of the Opposition in the Upper House Mallikarjuna further said, 'PM Narendra Modi has wasted the time of Parliament.' He said, 'We told our issues to PM Modi. Instead of answering how the issues would be resolved, he tried to divert the discussion from the issues. He did not talk on any issue of the country, only abused Congress.'

Earlier on Wednesday, Congress veteran Mallikarjun Kharge had said, 'PM Modi was only targeting Congress in Parliament and seemed to avoid answering the questions raised by the party.' Kharge further said that 'The Congress party had raised issues like China's excessive aggression, rising inflation in the country, unemployment, Pegasus and the crisis arising out of Corona in front of the government, but PM Modi did not say anything on these issues.'
