Sagar: Troubled by the potholes in the road in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, children have appealed to CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan. The children said in unison, "The little ones are calling, Mama Ji listen to our plea." Mamaji, now you only protect us. The officers of Sagar have no concern for the little children. We are scared to come to school. Still, they come to school to make their future bright. Please don't take away our bright future from us. Get the road made before any untoward accident. Please help us, Mamaji.

Actually, about 5 kilometers of road from Bhainsa Hill to NH-44 has been damaged for 3 years. There are famous temples, government, and private schools of Garhpahara on this route. More than one thousand students and common teachers come and go through this route every day. There is always a risk of accidents due to the road being dilapidated and deadly potholes.

The same teachers wrote a letter to the administration to repair the road. Also, teachers and parents complained to the Chief Minister's Helpline. But, there was no hearing. After that, the public school teacher came forward and tried to fill the potholes. At the same time, the children also helped and appealed to CM Shivraj Singh through poetry. Public Works Department executive engineer Harishankar Jaiswal said, "The repair work of this road is always done. The school people who have filled the pits for photographing have also used our own material. The road is approved for construction. Work will be started as soon as the tender process is completed. Even today, road repair work is going on."
