West Bengal: Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, will reach Mumbai for a three-day visit beginning today (November 30), during which she will meet with Nationalist Congress Party supremo Sharad Pawar and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray.

As per details, on December 1, Mamata is set to meet with industrialists in Mumbai and invite them to the Bengal Global Business Summit, which will take place in April of next year.

"Mamata Banerjee will arrive in Mumbai tomorrow for a three-day tour. She will meet with Sharad Pawar, the NCP's supremo, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. In addition, Chief Minister wants to encourage investment to the state "said a senior Trinamool Congress official.

Banerjee visited Delhi last week and met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to emphasise for the state's requests. She, however, did not pay a visit to Congress president Sonia Gandhi, given the changed equation between the Trinamool Congress and the grand old party.
