Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee has again hit the road against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Attacking the Modi government, Mamta has said, "Why do you always compare our country to Pakistan?" You should talk about India. We do not want to be Pakistan. We love India. He talks about Pakistan all day as if he is the ambassador of Pakistan.

Mamta further said that Pakistan should discuss Pakistan, we will discuss about India, this is our birthplace. After so many years, we will have to prove our citizenship again. Home Minister Amit Shah says that yes NRC will be applicable in the whole country and the Prime Minister says that he is not aware of this. Mamta Banerjee said that we are not allowing NPR in West Bengal. Earlier we thought that it was part of the census, but now we have come to know that they are asking for other information. Our address is not Pakistan. We are citizens of free India. We cannot give them the right to seize their rights.

West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee said that students are beaten inside the university. 23 man was shot in UP. He said that it does not matter how much BJP people abuse us. We will continue our protest till the NRC is repealed.
