New Delhi: Mamata Banerjee will meet with leaders of the opposition parties during her four-day tour to Delhi, which begins today, November 22. Mamata' visit coincides with the beginning of the Parliament's Winter Session. On November 29, the session will begin.

Mamata will meet with opposition leaders, according to sources, to devise a strategy for taking on the BJP in Parliament. The administration is expected to complete the process of repealing three agriculture legislation that the opposition has dubbed "black laws." Mamata is expected to meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well. She may meet with the Prime Minister to address a variety of matters, including expanding the BSF's jurisdiction.

A large contingent of Trinamool Congress leaders has arrived in Delhi ahead of Mamata's visit. The party's officials are expected to meet with Union Home Minister Amit Shah today to discuss the arrest of Sayani Ghosh, the party's youth wing president, in Agartala, where she allegedly attempted to mow down BJP activists.

Mamata's trip to the capital is considered as part of her efforts to strengthen opposition unity against the BJP ahead of the general elections in 2024. Her last trip to Delhi was in July. This was her first trip to Delhi since the TMC retook power in West Bengal in May.
