The crime case that has come up recently is from Kandivali suburb area of Mumbai where a 35-year-old man working as a priest allegedly committed suicide on Tuesday afternoon. In this case the person has been identified as Krishna Pujari. According to the information, he was a resident of Udupi, Karnataka and was associated with Durga Mata temple located in Iraniwadi area in Sanjay Nagar.

In this case, a police official says, "Pujari lived with three other priests and was waiting for the lockdown to end as he wanted to go to his hometown." It is said that he had a long wait for the lockdown to be removed and he hoped that on April 14, the lockdown would be removed and he would be able to go to his house. Due to this, he got into depression and was allegedly hanged in the kitchen. At this time, people across the country are stuck somewhere due to lockdown and are not able to go to their homes.

Crime gets increased even in lockdown, new case of robbery surfaced

For this reason, many people were still hoping that the lock-down would open on April 14, but many people have been disappointed and not surprised to get the lockdown removed. In this episode, people in Mumbai also came on the road on the news of extending the lockdown till May 3 and demanded that they should arrange for transport to go to their original places, everyone was sent back and they given assurance for goods and food.
