Jammu, on thursday, Cops arrested a man for kidnapping and raping a woman in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
According to a police officer, “Shafiq Wani, who was evading arrested since July 6, was arrested by a team of Rajbagh police station from a dhaba in the district where he was hiding and working as a dishwasher from the last 10 days”.
The accused's brother had filed a habeas corpus in the high court alleging that Wani was kept in illegal confinement by the people of Rajbagh area.
