Yes, according to reports, a village panchayat was held at Madhubani in Bihar on a year-long love affair and the girl was given the permission to stay at her boyfriend's house. The order was accepted by the boy's family and they took the girl with them. The girl's family then found the girl's body lying there when they arrived at her house a couple of days later. In this case, the boyfriend-cum-husband escaped from the spot and all are being investigated.
