A sensational incident has come to light from the Cachar district of Assam. A 26-year-old man has been arrested by the police. He is accused of allegedly abducting a minor girl, he tried to slit her throat after raping her and then packed her in a bag and threw her to die in the forest. Shockingly, he kept on claiming to the police initially that she was his girlfriend. The girl is currently fighting for her life in the hospital.

According to police sources, the incident occurred on October 3. The accused got angry with the minor after going to the Durga Puja pandal with someone else. The accused was arrested by the police on October 6. However, the police say that the family members have accused the perpetrator of rape. The girl is currently fighting for her life at the hospital.

Packed in a bag after rape

According to a report by NDTV, the girl's family has alleged that the arrested youth packed her in a bag after the torture and threw her in the forest. But she survived the attack, freed herself from the bag, and returned home with torn clothes. At the moment the girl is undergoing treatment at the Silchar Medical College Hospital.

According to the FIR lodged with the police, the girl's family has said that she went to a Durga Puja pandal on October 3 and did not return home. The family complained to the police on October 4.
