Pune: A married man in Maharashtra's Pune found it too expensive to stay with his girlfriend at a hotel. In fact, he used his wife's Aadhaar card to check in to the hotel, but he got badly stuck in this affair. A case has been registered against the husband and his girlfriend on the complaint of the wife.

A case was registered against the accused and his girlfriend at the Hinjewadi police station in Pune on Tuesday. Police said the culprit is a Gujarat businessman and his wife is a director in a company. According to official information, the wife had fitted the GPS in her husband's SUV. Through it, he discovered that he was cheating on her. Police officials said that in November last year, the criminal told his wife that he was in Bengaluru in connection with the businessman's trip. Then, when the wife checked the location, the SUV left in Pune.

The police said that the businessman's wife got suspicious about this, so she contacted the hotel. The hotel staff informed that the man had come to the hotel with his wife. After that, the wife took out the CCTV footage and it was found that her husband had checked in with another woman in the hotel using her Aadhaar card. Police said a case has been registered against the husband and his girlfriend under Section 419 (cheating) of the IPC. Both are currently on the run and are being traced.
