New Delhi: A shocking case of alleged rape of a woman employee of media channel BBC has come to light. According to reports, a female employee of the BBC was raped while shooting for famous TV presenter Stacy Dooley's new TV show. According to the media report, the rape incident took place during the shooting of a new cooking show 'Hungry For It' by TV presenter Stacy Dooley.

The City of London police said they had received information about the incident from another police force and that evidence in the case was being examined. A source told The Sun that the attacker had forcibly entered the room and abused the woman. According to the report, the crew working on the show was informed about the matter. Indeed, a staff member of the BBC had sent an email to the crew about the 'allegations of sexual abuse during production.' The incident reportedly took place on Friday, September 10, 2021, when the BBC Three television show was being filmed. City of London police informed Mirror that they were contacted by another police force nine days after the alleged attack.

The interrogation is going on and no arrests have been made at the moment. The victim is currently being assisted by specially trained officers. A spokesman for the City of London Police has informed that the City of London Police was contacted by another police force on Sunday (19 September 2021). The police force had received a complaint of rape on Friday (September 10, 2021). However, the complaint was filed late. A source told the media, 'It's extremely scary when something like this happened while working on a show. The attacker, after forcibly entering the room, allegedly locked the door from inside and misbehaved with the woman employee.'

The incident has shaken the entire crew and everyone is upset. While signing a contract to work on the show, none of us ever thought that such a thing would happen. BBC Studios, which created Hungry for It, said they would not comment on the incident, but pointed to "strong procedures" to provide "reasonable support" to the employee. According to the news, one of the crew members of the show had also sent an email to all the workers of the show regarding the incident, but in this email, the other staff were asked not to tell anyone about the incident in public. Let me tell you that ten amateur chefs live together in this show. During this time they compete with each other for big awards.

A BBC spokesperson said that "BBC Studios has strong procedures to ensure that any of our employees or freelancers who may be victims of a crime are given all the necessary help and care and the matter is taken very seriously.''
