Jaipur: A car driver tried to ram into chief minister Ashok Gehlot's vehicle by breaking the route lining due to VIP movement in the airport police station area of Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan. The incident took place when Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot was returning after dropping Priyanka Gandhi at the airport.

Due to this, a traffic constable of Jaipur police came forward to stop the driver of the car, but he did not agree and dragged the constable on the bonnet of his car for 600 meters. The constable has suffered a lot of injuries in this case. As soon as the police officers managed to stop the car from the car driver, he was arrested.

That's the case for Tuesday. When Jaipur police stopped the traffic on JLN Marg to release CM Ashok Gehlot's vehicles. As the traffic came to a standstill, the car driver suddenly started moving towards Jaipuria Road near Malviya Nagar Culvert. Seeing the car moving towards the chief minister's convoy, the traffic police constable tried to stop him. However, the driver of the car did not agree and he tried to drag the constable to the bonnet of the car while moving towards Jaipuria Hospital Road from JLN Marg. According to the SHO, the police jeep chased the car and stopped it after about 600 metres. The constable was injured in the incident. He said the culprit had been arrested.
