MANIPUR: In the state of Manipur, Chief Minister N Biren Singh finds himself grappling with severe backlash concerning the law and order situation. Multiple opposition parties have adamantly demanded his resignation, a fervent plea that resonated within the chambers of Parliament. Despite the pressure mounting, N Biren Singh remains resolute in sidestepping the question of resignation, firmly declaring his dedication to restoring peace in the state.
"I shan't delve into this matter. My solemn duty lies in the pursuit of tranquility for our beloved state. Though miscreants exist within any society, rest assured, we shall not relent in bringing them to justice," asserted the Chief Minister.
Addressing the appalling incident of women being subjected to a naked parade, the Chief Minister divulged that four arrests had been made thus far, while the police operation tirelessly persisted in apprehending all the culprits, leaving none unscathed.
