SHIMLA: Senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia named new office bearers for the party's Himachal Pradesh chapter, which will be led by Surjit Singh Thakur, on Tuesday. The AAP dissolved its Himachal Pradesh unit in April after its state president and a slew of other leaders defected to the BJP.

In Himachal Pradesh, the Aam Aadmi Party is growing in strength. The Kejriwal Model is attracting people from all over Himachal Pradesh to join the Aam Aadmi Party. Sisodia stated, "The Aam Aadmi Party has built a new team and organisation in Himachal Pradesh to further strengthen its roots in the state."

Before forming the new team, Sisodia said, AAP staffers visited 3,615 gramme panchayats across the state and interacted with residents to learn about their concerns.

Manish Sisodia in Himachal Pradesh accuses the BJP of riot politics and the AAP of delivering better education.
"It was clear in conversations all over the state that people are fed up with the established parties, the BJP and the Congress." People have lost faith in both parties since they did nothing while in office," he remarked.
