VADODARA:Manish Sisodia, the Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and a senior Aam Aadmi Party leader, announced on Friday that his party will contest all 182 seats in the Gujarat Assembly elections. In Vadodara, Sisodia stated that the people of Gujarat did not have a choice in the elections, but that now that AAP is contesting all seats, they will have a choice.

"We will run for every seat in Gujarat. Gujarat's people must now make a decision. The people of Gujarat did not have a choice till recently, but now they do "he stated Arvind Kejriwal, the Delhi Chief Minister and the leader of the AAP, will visit the state on June 6 to take part in the party's Tiranga Yatra in Mehsana.

Kejriwal had urged Gujarat voters to give his party a second opportunity in the state's upcoming elections. After assuming power, he stated that his party will put an end to the state's corruption cycle. AAP is looking to expand its impact in other states following its massive victory in the Punjab Assembly elections.

The party attempted to make its debut in Gujarat during the 2017 Assembly elections, but was unable to do so. Gujarat will hold legislative elections this year.

The Aam Aadmi Party's hopes in Gujarat have been bolstered by its result in the February 2021 Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) elections, in which the BJP won 93 seats and the Aam Aadmi Party won 27, while the Congress drew a blank.
