In a recent episode of Manzil Veeranja Poovu, Manu starts bleeding and falls unconscious. Sona gets nervous and takes him to the hospital. The doctor examines Manu and hospitalizes him. Sona informs that Manu was throwing up which had blood stains. However, the hospital administration demands money to start treatment. Sona promises him money soon and requests him to start treatment. But the hospital administration turned down his request.

Subsequently, Sona calls Mallika and tells him about Manu's condition. But, Mallika shouts at Sona and tells that she will not fall for her new tricks. Sona tries to explain but Mallika cuts off the call. Sona meets the doctor and requests him to save Manu's life. The doctor tells Sona that Manu is in critical condition and will not survive if they do not start treatment soon. Sona gets nervous and she calls Mallika again. Mallika attends the call and excludes Sona.

She also orders Sona not to call again. In the office, Rajiv and Mallika discuss Shaji. Rajiv suggests her not to lose Shazi as she is a rich man. Suja, on the other hand, tells Pratibha about the incident that happened during the ceremony to see the bride. She also reveals that she is upset over her mother's disapproval of her marriage to Shazi.
