Several celebrities, including Simran, Nayanthara, Kajal Aggarwal, Arun Vijay, Jiiva, Harish Kalyan, Ashok Selvan, Soori, Vignesh Shivan, Nikki Galrani, Aditi Balan and Kalyani Priyadarshan, got their first dose of vaccine.
Ever since the third phase of vaccination drive began, several celebrities are getting vaccinated and urging people to get their first dose at the earliest. By posting pictures of them getting their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, they're also spreading hope and importance of taking the jab to control the spread of the virus.
Manjima Mohan, who took to her social media to talk about the importance of getting vaccinated. In an honest post, she, too, spoke about having a small fear to get the vaccine. Her post read, "Got vaccinated! Just like everyone else I had a small fear of going to take the jab but Dr Karthika Karthik made me realize how important it is to vaccinate and that's the only solution to stop the third wave from hitting us hard. Thank you akka for patiently answering my 1000 questions! Thank you Faisal, Ravi and the rest of the staff at Apollo for your service to the people and giving them confidence to do this. I request you all to pls go get vaccinated and protect yourself and those around you."
She even added, "If you have any doubts about the vaccination or it's process, ask in the comments section below and I will try and answer it to the best of my abilities."
