Chandigarh: In his address to the country today on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji's birth anniversary, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced the repeal of all three agriculture laws. Since last year, farmers have been protesting these agricultural rules on Delhi's outskirts. The removal of these rules is being questioned by opposition parties, with farmer leader Rakesh Tikait requesting Parliament to continue the struggle till the bill is repealed.

The reaction of Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to the situation has finally been revealed. He stated that it is unfortunate if there is scepticism about the Prime Minister's comments. CM Khattar told the reporters, 'Farmers need not be concerned at this time.' If the Prime Minister declares that all three agriculture laws will be repealed, it will be executed. Even Bhupinder Singh Hooda ji, the Leader of the Opposition, has urged people to have trust... There's no reason to trust anything. It's a pity if there's still suspicion.'

Farmers' leader Rakesh Tikait and representatives of numerous opposition parties voiced reservations following PM Modi's declaration. Rakesh Tikait said he supports the move if the government follows through on PM Modi's promises. Furthermore, until this law are withdrawn from Parliament, we have several concerns with the government. We will not leave the agitation site till then.
