Raipur: Manturam Pawar, a tribal leader from Chhattisgarh, has made serious allegations against two former chief ministers of the state. Manturam Pawar has blamed this on many people including BJP leader and former CM Raman Singh, former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi and his son Amit. Pawar says that these people had withdrawn him from the Antagarh by-election by pressurizing him and offering him an amount of Rs 7 crore. Pawar was a Congress candidate in the by-election in Antagarh assembly seat in 2014 and suddenly withdrew his name before voting.

Pawar on Saturday lodged a statement under section 164 in the local court and during this time, giving an affidavit, Raman Singh, Ajit Jogi, Amit Jogi and former minister Rajesh Munat were severely accused of conspiring. Manturam Pawar has stated in the affidavit that till 2014 he was a member of the Indian National Congress.

In the year 2014, he contested Antagarh by-election and during this time Bhojraj Nag was a candidate from BJP. He said in the affidavit that during the Antagarh by-election in August 2014, he received a call from a man named Amin Menon and was accompanied by Firoz Siddique. He gave a message to him that former Chief Minister Ajit Jogi, his son Amit Jogi and the then Chief Minister Raman Singh were reunited. There is a fierce confrontation between Ajit Jogi and the current CM Bhupesh Baghel in the state.
