Therefore, it is also important to know how this fever finally spreads, its symptoms, and its prevention. Mathura Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rachna Gupta informed that about 26 children are infected in the same village called Kuh. Piproth, Ral, and Jasoda have also received 3, 14, and 17 cases respectively.

Tell you that Scrub Typhus has claimed a total of 10 lives in the region, out of which 8 were children. At the same time, cases of infection and death have also been registered in districts of western UP like Agra, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Eta, and Kasganj, whose samples are being tested. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). It was caused by a bacteria called Orientia Tsutsugamushi. This bacteria is spread to people when they are bitten by chiggers (larval mites) infected with this bacteria.

Symptoms in scrub typhoid begin to appear within 10 days of the bite of the chiggers (larva mites). Fever, runny nose, headache, pain in body and muscles, irritability, rashes on the body, etc. are the main symptoms of this fever. According to CDC, there is no vaccine for scrub typhus. But this can be avoided. It is most important to distance yourself from an infected person. At the same time, one should avoid going to areas where there are larva mites. At the same time, CDC instructs people to keep their hands and feet covered. People are also advised to use Permethrin pesticide, as it kills larval mites
