Bhopal: As many as 360 prisoners serving life sentences in different jails of Madhya Pradesh will be released on August 15 (Independence Day). Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra said that no prisoner of serious crime is involved in this. According to Home Minister Narottam Mishra, 360 prisoners serving life sentences in Madhya Pradesh will be released on Independence Day this year.  

According to the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Central Government, it has been decided to waive the sentence of 151 prisoners and 251 prisoners by the Madhya Pradesh government under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. It does not include any prisoner of serious crime. The Governor has approved the remission of the sentence of the prisoners. The 75th year of independence is being celebrated as Amrit Mahotsav across the country. An appeal has been made to the public to participate in these festivals. Meanwhile, Home Minister Narottam Mishra has informed about the release of the prisoners.  

Earlier, 2 terrorists were arrested by NIA from Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The NIA arrested Hamidullah alias Raju Ghazi alias Muffaqeer alias Samid Ali Mian and Mohammad Sahadat Hussain alias Abidullah. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra then reported that the two terrorists were on the radar after the arrest of seven terrorists in March. Apart from these, the search for 6 more suspects is going on.
