India's leading automaker Maruti Suzuki and Japanese carmaker Toyota signed an MOU for a trade deal in 2017, in which the two carmakers will offer each other products, components and technology. The first product in this partnership was the upcoming Toyota Glanza, which is Maruti's premium hatchback Baleno. The other product is a rebadged version of the Vitara Brezza coming out of this partnership and it seems that Toyota will soon introduce it in the market. 

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that it has started supplying this compact SUV to Toyota Kirloskar Motor. As per the agreement, Maruti Suzuki was to supply the Baleno premium hatchback and Brezza compact SUV to Toyota. In return, Toyota will offer a Corolla sedan to Maruti Suzuki. Once Toyota starts getting supplies from Maruti, they will make the necessary changes and soon launch their version in the market.

Unlike the Glanza which was basically almost no change to save all the changes to the individual badging, the Toyota Vitara Brezza version is likely to look a bit different. Earlier it was revealed that the rebadged Brezza version of Toyota could be known as Urban Cross. In terms of design, the Toyota Urban Cross is also expected to look slightly different from the regular Maruti Brezza. Toyota hopes to make changes to the front grille, with bumpers on both the front and rear that give it a slightly different look. Talking about the equipment and features, this urban cross is expected to be found from the same Brezza.
