The new Alto Maruti Suzuki has launched two months ago. Now the company has also launched its CNG model in the market. CNG options will be available in the two variants of the new Alto, LXi and LXi (O). The ex-showrooms are priced at Rs 4.11 lakh and Rs 4.14 lakh respectively. Maruti Suzuki has not revealed the technical details of the new ALTO with CNG. In terms of features, there is no difference between Alto's petrol and CNG models. Both include power steering, AC, front power window, silver interior accents, retractable rear seatbelts, rear child lock, remote boot, and fuel lid opener and body color handle and mirrors. Co-driver airbags are also available in LXi (O).

New Safety, Emission, and Crash Test Norms are going to be the new Alto. It is powered by a 796cc BS6 engine. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The starting price of the new Alto is Rs 2.94 lakh. Cars like Renault Quid and Datsun Ready-Go are going to hit the market.
