The same decline has been recorded in all the segments. In the mini segment, only 401 cars from the Alto and S-Presso were made, while 23,874 units were produced in the last year, which fell by 98%. It has seen a decline of 97% with 1,950 units as compared to 84,705 units produced in the same period last year. Talking about the utility vehicle, which includes Vitara Brezza and Ertiga, the company produced only 928 units, which was less than the 24,748 produced in the same period last year.

Due to Coronavirus, Maruti Suzuki had temporarily stopped production and sales operations in the country from March. With the government relieving the lockdown, Maruti Suzuki resumed operations at its three plants in a phased process. This includes the company's Manesar plant and Gurugram plant in Haryana.
