After the end of the festive month of October, the sale of vehicles has started again. Maruti Suzuki India, the country's largest car maker, fell 1.9 percent to 1,50,630 units in November. The company gave its information on Sunday. The company said in a statement that it had sold 1,53,539 units in November last year. The company said its domestic sales fell 1.6 percent to 1,43,686 units during the month under review from 1,46,018 units last year.

During this period, sales of mini-class vehicles including Alto and WagonR were down by 12.2 percent from 26,304 units to 26,306 units. However went reached during Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and sales of the compact class, including Desire 7.6 per cent to 78,013 units. Sales of the medium-sized sedan vehicle Ciaz fell from 3,838 units to 1,448 units during this period. Sales of utility vehicles, including the Vitara Brezza, S-Cross and Ertiga, fell 1.3 percent to 23,204 units. The company said exports also fell by 7.7 percent to 6,944 units during the month under review.

The sales had increased in the festive month in October


In the month of October, Maruti Suzuki India's total sales increased by 4.5 percent to 1,53,435 units over the previous year, while sales increased by 25.4% as compared to September 2019. This was seen due to the festive season, which was also seen as a slight improvement in the sluggishness of the auto sector.
