In recent times, one of the directors of Kollywood who has attracted attention is Lokesh Kanagaraj. Starting with the critically acclaimed debut film Magnaram in his latest directorial venture Kathy, the filmmaker's creations have been receiving widespread attention by Kollywood film enthusiasts. Now a new report has come out in which it is said that the director is ready to join hands with veteran actor Kamal Haasan. Obviously, the film will be a political drama.

Though no official confirmation has been made on this news yet, but it has already hit the internet as fans of the actor and director are ready to listen to the news. Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Lokesh Kanagaraj will direct Rajinikanth's next film, and will be bankrolled by Kamal Haasan's home banner Raj Kamal Productions. An official update regarding this film is still awaited.

Lokesh Kanagraj is currently awaiting the release of Master. Thalapathy Vijay will be the lead actor. Starring Vijay Sethupathi, Master is one of the most awaited films of Kollywood. Although some time ago it was reported that the makers are ready to release the film directly on the OTT platform, but the producers denied the claims. On the other hand, Kamal Haasan is currently busy with his upcoming film Indian 2. Directed by Shankar, the shooting of the film is now expected to resume soon, with the Tamil Nadu government allowed to resume with the film production process.
