The Narcotics Control Bureau recently busted a drug racket in Bangalore and allegedly arrested former television actress Anika D along with her two colleagues M Anoop and R Ravindran. According to media reports, many celebs attend rave parties and often do so after the release of their films. The report said that the accused used to supply drugs to Anika's parties.
Filmmaker Indrajit Lankesh has also talked about Sandalwood and apparently the drug gang, if he will be given protection then he is ready to reveal the names to the police. Meanwhile, Kichcha Sudeep hosted Bigg Boss Kannada, contestant Adam Pasha's name, he was dragged into it. He met Anika at a dance club a year ago but had no idea about her involvement in the drug racket.
Adam Pasha said "I met her a year ago at the Kammanahalli Dance Club. He did not reveal her original name and told me that Ann was her name. I did not know that she was a drug supplier. I have not done anything illegal". He continued, "I don't have connections with people in the film industry. Therefore, I don't know the links she has with Sandalwood. I used to go to clubs to do salsa dances."
