Uttar Pradesh: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Dham, Mayawati took a jab at the BJP, saying that inaugurating unfinished projects "just before the announcement of Assembly Elections" will not help the party extend its voting base. "The Central and State Governments' back-to-back announcements, foundation stone laying of new projects, and inaugurations of incomplete projects right before the announcement of the Assembly elections will not help that party (BJP) build its support base," Mayawati remarked.

On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project in Varanasi, his Lok Sabha constituency. She also attacked the Samajwadi Party, saying, "Inducting expelled, inactive, and selfish members of other parties immediately before the UP Assembly Elections will assist no political party. The public has a negative perception of such parties and their members."

On Sunday, former MP Kushal Tiwari, expelled BSP MLA Vinay Shanker Tiwari, and Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Digvijay Narayan Chaubey joined the Samajwadi Party. Mayawati also expressed her congratulations to the Shiromani Akali Dal on its 100th anniversary, saying, "Only a few political parties can claim to have served the country for this long. This is the state's oldest regional party, which has served the people of the state for many years."
