Lucknow: Even though one and a half years are left for the assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, political parties have stepped up their preparations. BSP chief Mayawati is gearing up for mission 2022 in the wake of assembly elections. Mayawati has made a fresh change in the responsibilities of divisional main sector charging officers, under which Shamsuddin Raini has been given the responsibility of major divisions of Uttar Pradesh as well as Uttarakhand.

BSP State President Munquad Ali has been shifted from western UP to eastern UP. Shamsuddin Raini's political stature in the party has been steadily increasing since Nasimuddin Siddiqui quit the BSP. Mayawati has entrusted Raini with the state coordinator of Uttarakhand along with the main sector in charge of five divisions of the state. Shamsuddin Raini will be charged with Sector-2 of Lucknow division along with Saharanpur, Meerut, Moradabad and Bareilly. He will bear the full responsibility of Uttarakhand.

BSP Chief Mayawati has handed over the responsibility of the Uttarakhand-in-charge to Raini by removing state president Munquad Ali. He has now been appointed as the sector in charge of Mirzapur, Allahabad, Varanasi and Azamgarh divisions. However, he will also work to see the state organization. Former MP Ghanshyam Kharwar has been charged with Gorakhpur, Basti, Faizabad and Devipatan divisions.
