Lucknow: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo and former Uttar Pradesh CM Mayawati has appealed to all governments to rise above party politics and provide financial assistance to capitalists in the campaign in a drive to vaccinate people above 18 years of age across the country from Saturday.

Mayawati tweeted on Saturday, "All governments should come out openly for mutual cooperation to make the programme of corona vaccine in the country starting today above party politics and selfishness". In another tweet, Mayawati wrote, "The corona vaccine programme must be attended by the country's top capitalists and dhananaseths, etc., in a big way and should help the Central and State Governments with the same generosity as they have been funding parties through 'electoral bonds'.

Mayawati further said, "At the same time, as a result of the uncontrollable situation of the corono outbreak in the country, india's policy changes and the countries that are coming forward to help India in order to take grants and medical supplies from abroad after years are commendable. This will improve the situation in the country a little better'.
