There was a period of villains in Bollywood when a movie was said to be incomplete without them. He was such an integral part of the movie, for which more than one good dialogue was found. When the villain used to come on the screen, his words used to blow people's senses and even started hating seeing him. In such a situation, can you imagine that a villain became immortal forever by speaking just three words in a movie. Yes, we are talking about the famous villain Mohan Makijani of the movie 'Sholay', whom the world recognizes as Mac Mohan. Today is his birthday. Actually Mac Mohan was born on this day i.e. on 24 April 1938 in Karachi, British India. His father was a British Army colonel in India. He was also the maternal uncle of famous actress Raveena Tandon. Mack's father was transferred in 1940 and he settled in Lucknow.

Mac studied in Lucknow and there he became friends with Sunil Dutt. From college itself, Mac started theater and also learned acting from the Movie and Television Institute of Pune. Mac has won the hearts of his fans by working in more than 200 movies in Bollywood. In 1946, he made his acting debut with the movie 'Haqeeqat' and after which he got offers from more than one movie. 'Chain', 'Salakhen', 'Shagird', 'Satte Pe Satta', 'Don', 'Friendly', 'Black Stone'. However, the movie for which Mack was remembered the most was 'Sholay'. The main villain in the movie 'Sholay' remained Gabbar i.e. Amjad Khan. However, Mac appeared in the role of 'Sambha' in this. Interestingly, many of his scenes were cut in the movie and only one scene was kept.

In this, he answers Gabbar's question 'How much reward is the government on us', 'Full fifty thousand'. Everyone remembers his character in this movie with just these three words. Mac played the character of the villain in most of the Bollywood movies. He was also very fond of poetry. Mack was very good in nature but his only habit is said to be the worst. He used to drink a lot of alcohol. He used to smoke cigarettes so much that there was no need for matches, but he used to burn cigarettes with cigarettes. Perhaps this was the reason for their end. He breathed his last on 10 May 2010 at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai due to cancer.
