Mumbai: Negligence of police and hospital has come to light in Buldhana, Maharashtra. Police took the toy as a body of a newborn and sent it for postmortem by making a Panchnama. The hospital also started the post mortem process. When the cotton and sponge came out of the toy, it was known that the one whose post-mortem is being done is a plastic doll.
Pimpalgaon Raja police reached Borjwala village after receiving information that a newborn body was thrown in a cloth on the banks of a river in Khamgaon taluka of Buldhana district. Police made a 'Panchnama' and took the body of the newborn to the hospital in Khamgaon for postmortem. The hospital also showed negligence. At the time of post-mortem, when he was dissected, cotton and sponge came out of the doll.
It was then revealed that it is not a corpse of a newborn but a blooming doll. Police Inspector SL Chavan said that it was the police of the village who informed that the dead body of a newborn of 7-8 months was lying near the river. On the second day, papers were made after making a Panchnama. At the time of post-mortem, after getting the cotton and sponge out of the body, it came to be known that it is not a human body but a doll.
