In Fatehabad city of Haryana, water has accumulated everywhere in the morning due to heavy rain. Streets, roads and from the residence to the square intersections everything is flooded with water. In the low-lying areas of Fatehabad city, the situation looked so bad that water penetrated even inside the residence and people remained imprisoned in their residence. An unannounced curfew situation arose.

The worst situation in Fatehabad district was seen in areas like MC Colony, Dharamshala Road, Jawahar Chowk, where water entered the streets, roads, square-intersections and inside the houses. In Ward No. 4, due to rain, water on streets was flowing like a river. Water entered people's residence and people had to face a lot of trouble.

Locals Jaswant Kaur and Bhola Singh said that due to the arbitrariness of the municipality, the water on their street is not coming out. The public accused the municipality that is the direction the water goes out, the municipality has obstructed the water drainage. Due to this, water from their street also reaches other lanes of the ward. Due to the recent rains, the situation in Fatehabad is very bad and heavy rains are forecast in the coming days, due to which the situation can get worse. Till August 21, the heavy rain warning has been given in Haryana. According to the weather forecast, there will be heavy rains in many cities of Haryana till August 21.
