New Delhi: McDonald's is a well-known name all over the world because of his burger (McDonald Berger). Moreover, in every McDonald's ad, you will surely see his French fry, which is part of every combo mile. But these days McDonald's in Japan has stopped selling French fries. In fact, it's not McDonald's arbitrariness, but it's strong, because he doesn't have potatoes to make French fries.

Potato imports to Japan have been greatly reduced due to corona epidemic and floods in Canada. Due to this, there is such a huge shortage of potatoes in Japan that Macdonald is not able to get potatoes. In such a situation, the company has decided that only small size French fries will be sold there from 24th December to 30th December. This has been done by the company so that customers can still order French fries.

Tell us that McDonald's has more than 3,000 restaurants in Japan. The company has said it will sell only small size French fries for some time due to a long dispute between 20,000 dockworkers and terminal operators and shipping lines at 29 ports on the west coast of the US. McDonald's has also decided to import about 1000 tonnes of frozen French fries in the face of this trouble.
