New Delhi:- It was the Mercedes-powered team's first appearance of the season after a poor start. Technical director James Allison said Wednesday that Mercedes will be watching closely McLaren's latest upgrades for clues as to how its Formula 1 rivals have achieved lap-time leaps.
Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri finished second and fourth for McLaren at last Sunday's British Grand Prix, while seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton finished third and George Russell fifth for Mercedes. rice field.
Despite a poor start, Norris' podium was the Mercedes-powered team's first podium of the season.

"We are watching all the teams develop closely," Allison said in his British Grand Prix report, explaining that the photos were taken to monitor the changes.
He said Mercedes will pay more attention than usual to McLaren's package.

“We notice something new and unusual happening. What is interesting and unusual about the McLaren upgrade is that the impact on lap times is very strong. Chasing them with superiority is unusual. Allison said the team is increasingly looking to 2024 and will make improvements over the next year, but there is still more to come at Mercedes.
