A piece of big news has come from Jammu and Kashmir. In fact, former Chief Minister and PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti has once again been placed under house arrest. Yes, and she gave information about this by tweeting. With this, Mehbooba Mufti has once again attacked the Modi government at the Center for the condition of Kashmiri Pandits.
GOI wants to push the plight of Kashmiri pandits under the rug because its their callous policies that’ve led to unfortunate targeted killings of those who chose not to flee. Projecting us mainstream as their enemy is why Ive been placed under house arrest today. pic.twitter.com/GliRJaJX45

Well, let me tell you that this is not the first time. In fact, in the first year of 2021, Mehbooba Mufti was also placed under house arrest in the month of September. During this, she had said, "With this step, the truth of the government's claims of 'normalcy' in Jammu and Kashmir has come to the fore." Along with this, she also accused the Center and said 'While the Indian government is expressing concern for the rights of the people in Afghanistan, the Kashmiris have been denied their rights.'
Mehbooba was in detention for nearly 14 months since August 5, 2019, abrogated provisions of Article 370 of the Constitution that gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from her, many other political leaders were kept under house arrest by the Modi government.
