New Delhi: Scorching heat is prevailing in the national capital Delhi and its surrounding areas. The temperature above 40 degrees with hot winds is troubling people. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of maximum temperature reaching 42 degree Celsius today (Sunday), May 21. In such a situation, there is a need to be careful of the heat before going out of the house.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department (IMD), the people of Delhi-NCR will have to deal with severe heat till May 22. Due to this, the minimum temperature can be 24 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature can be 42 degree Celsius. Along with this, strong and hot winds will also blow. Whereas on May 23, there may be light drizzle and rain showers. Due to this, the minimum temperature can be around 27 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature can be around 41 degree Celsius. According to the Meteorological Department, havoc of hot winds and heat wave will be seen for two days. At the same time, it is expected to rain once again in the national capital Delhi from 24 to 26 May. Due to which the temperature will drop and there will be minor relief from the heat. Due to this, the maximum temperature can remain 37-38 degree Celsius.

Let us tell you that these days it is hot in many parts of the country including Delhi. People have high hopes from the monsoon for relief from the heat of the summer. The Meteorological Department has predicted the time till which the monsoon will enter the country. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon can knock in the country on June 4. There is no respite from the heat in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, which are adjacent to Delhi. The maximum temperature is reaching 41-42 degree Celsius amidst strong sunlight and heat of the sun. Although, light clouds can be seen on 23rd and 24th May, but there is no forecast of getting relief from the heat.
