 Coronavirus is wreaking havoc in Mexico. The death toll in Mexico has surpassed 160,000 people.  A total of 161,240 coronadeaths have been registered in Mexico since the start of the epidemic last February.

 Jose Luis Alomia, director of epidemiology at the Mexican Secretariat of Health shared the figures at a press conference broadcast on Twitter. According to the Secretariat of Health, the country's number of confirmed and suspected COVID-19 cases has reached 2,082,399. The World Health Organization (WHO) declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a pandemic on March 11, 2020.

Talking about global cases, The total number of coronavirus cases worldwide topped 104 million on Wednesday. According to the latest tally from Johns Hopkins University, as of 7 p.m. ET, 104,269,426 confirmed cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed globally.To date, the virus has claimed 2,264,118 lives around the world.
