MG Motors today launched its first electric SUV car after the huge success in the Indian market. The MG electric car is named MG ZS EV which was introduced in December last year and has started booking since then. The MG ZS EV has been launched in the market with two variants namely Exclusive and Excite. In terms of its battery power, the MG ZS EV SUV has a battery pack of 44.5 kWh which is 143 PS of power. And will give a torque of 353 Nm. The MG ZS EV SUV will cover a distance of 340 km on full battery charging. At the same time, it can catch a speed of 0 to 100 kmph in just 8.5 seconds. While its rival Hyundai Kona catches this speed in nine seconds. If company sources are to be believed, the battery will be charged up to 80 percent from a fast charger of 50 kW DC in just 40 minutes, while charging with a 7 kW charger will take seven hours.

Talking about its features, both variants will have six airbags, ESP, EBD with ABS, Hill Start, Decent Control, TPMS Pedestrian Warning System, ISOFIX Child Seat Mounting Points, Seatbelt Pretensioners and Rear Fog Lamps. Which makes it even better.
