MG Motors has announced a record-breaking achievement for its Windsor EV, receiving 15,176 bookings within just 24 hours of its launch. This milestone marks the Windsor as the first passenger electric vehicle in India to reach such a feat.

The Windsor EV combines the spaciousness of an SUV with the comfort of a sedan. It boasts a sleek aerodynamic design, luxurious interiors, advanced safety features, smart connectivity, and a range of high-tech features. The vehicle is available under the BaaS (Battery as a Service) program with a starting price of INR 9.99 lakh and an additional INR 3.5/km cost. Customers can also opt for an outright purchase starting at INR 13,49,800 (ex-showroom).
Powered by a 38 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the MG Windsor EV delivers 100KW (136ps) of power and 200Nm of torque. It offers four driving modes—Eco+, Eco, Normal, and Sport—with a range of 332 km on a single charge, certified by ARAI. Buyers can choose from three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence, and four vibrant color options: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green.
To enhance the ownership experience, MG offers several first-of-its-kind initiatives. The Windsor EV comes with a lifetime battery warranty for the first owner, one year of free public charging through the eHUB app, a 60% assured buyback after three years or 45,000 kilometers, and the MG e-Shield, which includes a 3-year unlimited kilometer warranty, 3 years of roadside assistance, and 3 labor-free services.
