On Thursday night the rocket attacked the US military base in Kirkuk, a remote area of Iraq. However, no casualties were reported. Iraqi and US security sources say this is the first attack on a K-1 base since December 27. On December 27, 30 consecutive rockets were fired and an American contractor was killed. The US accused Katib Hezbollah of this attack. Qatib Hezbollah is a section of the Iraqi army that is believed to be close to Iran. After this, the US, in retaliation, killed 25 fighters of Qatib Hezbollah. After this, he killed Qasim Sulemani, the military general of Iran.

For your information, let us tell you that despite all the warnings of the US, attacks on its bases in Iraq have not stopped. A few days ago, several rockets were fired near the US Embassy in Baghdad. The sounds of the blasts were heard from the western bank of the Tigris River where embassies of many countries were located. A security source had said that three high-altitude rockets fell in the high-security zone, while another source said five rockets were attacked by Katyusha rockets in the area.

In a campaign last month, the US targeted General Suleimani with his MQ-9 Reaper drone when his convoy was heading into Baghdad. After the assassination of General, a situation like war had arisen between Iran and America. Iran targeted two US military bases in Iraq in retaliation and threatened to target the United Arab Emirates' Dubai and Israel's Hafia on receiving a response from the US.
