States like Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha and West Bengal are the biggest source of migrant laborers for India's industry. From here, lakhs of workers migrate to other cities for earning. Workers of these states are trapped in other states amidst Coronavirus lockdown. The Central Government is running Shramik Express trains to ensure that all these laborers are safely taken to their homes. There are many states from where trains have been demanded to bring laborers, but there are many states in which less trains have been demanded to bring migrant laborers. Bengal has the leading name among them.

According to the guidelines of the Railways for these special trains that transport migrants to their homes during the coronavirus lockdown, the approval of those two states will surely take place from where the train will run and in which state. For this, they have to demand from the Center and the Railways.

According to the data on this matter, 302 labor special trains have been run across the country so far. UP has asked for most of these trains. Uttar Pradesh has demanded migrant special trains to transport the migrants to their homes through it. There are 33 trains on the way. 21 more trains will start their journey in the coming days. Its Bihar has accepted 73 trains. 17 trains are on the way and 15 more trains have been allowed to operate in the state.
