Guwahati: In the morning today, the militants attacked an Assam Rifles Vehicle and causing an encounter along the Assam-Arunchal Pradesh.
A Defence spokesman, As per the reports said An Assam Rifles vehicle was attacked by grenades and loud explosions were heard at Barabasti 12th Mile on NH-53 bordering Assam's Tinsukia district.
The security forces in return responded and further details of the incident are yet to come.
