Bhopal: A fire broke out in a four-floor house built in the narrow lane of Silavatpura on Wednesday afternoon. The accident is believed to be caused by a short circuit in the ground floor room which took the entire house in a short time. After two months there is a wedding in the house, for which 7 lakh rupees, deposited for shopping, have been burnt. In this accident, the pet dog was trapped on the first floor which was saved by the policemen of Hanumanganj police station. The family alleges that the fire brigade arrived after 45 minutes. The entire house had been gutted by the fire. The flames also damaged other houses in the neighborhood.

Significantly, there have been many incidents of fire in the narrow streets of the old city, but no solution has been found so far. The house where the accident occurred is of 40-year-old Jitendra Yadav, who lives here with his wife, sister Jayamala, brother Bharat and two nieces. Jitendra said that he is a private security guard at CM House these days. Vaishnavi Yadav, a student of class X, said, "There was a fire at about one and a half hours. In the first floor room, I was having dinner with my cousin's sister Kritika. There was a sudden chatter. Hearing this, she came to the ground floor and saw that the wires were burning and the smoke had spread throughout the house. I grabbed Kritika's hand and both of us ran on the roof, then went down the stairs to the neighbor's roof, we ran uncle. Everyone started throwing water out of tanks to extinguish the same fire."

In this accident, the team of fire brigade came 45 minutes later. Some policemen had come from Hanumanganj police station. She said, "Aunty started screaming Jaymala because she kept 7 lakh rupees in a box. It also got burnt, our doggy banku also." The first floor was tied. Without caring for fire, the policemen went to the first floor and saved Bunku, Jitendra said that younger brother Bharat is to be married on April 20. After the demise of the mother, the wedding was scheduled to take place after Holi and the money stored in the house for its purchase was burnt to a halt. Meanwhile, Daulat Yadav's bike parked outside the house also got burnt.
